We are a B Corp!

Sweep is now part of the B Corp community. Our certification will hold us accountable as we scale our team and carbon management platform. Here’s how we want to have an impact in 2022.

When we launched Sweep with Nicolas, Yannick and Raphael, we knew we wanted to build for impact and with impact. But it’s easier to do so when you run a startup. It becomes more challenging as you grow. There are more variables to account for, compromises to make and not enough time to do it all.

So we took a couple of steps to match our values with our big ambitions – and hold us accountable:

👉 Finding the right people: We carefully surrounded ourselves with team members, investors and partners who share our vision – building Sweep for business leaders who want to seriously deal with their climate mess and build a better future.

👉 Register as a French “societe a mission”: In addition to our investor board, we have a mission committee to advise us as we grow Sweep. It includes leading sustainability figures UTOPIES’ Elisabeth Laville, ex-Engie Ana Busto, Projections CC’s Vanessa Laubin, Shine’s Nicolas Reboud and Sweep’s Renaud Bettin.

👉 Become a B Corp: It’s an extra check to ensure that we operate in a way that best benefits our team, our community and the planet. We’re proud to be involved in a forward-thinking business community with the likes of Patagonia, Danone and WeTransfer.

Together, we are using business as a ‘force for good.’ It’s the only way forward to manage the climate crisis on our hands.

Our impact goals for 2022

One of B Corp's key values is transparency, so I’m going to share our three impact goals for 2022. And I’d encourage you to do the same.

🌎 Mind our own footprint on the planet: We educate our team via weekly webinars, track our emissions through Sweep (duh) and set reduction targets.

🧑🏾‍🤝‍🧑🏻 Maintain a safe and healthy work environment as we grow: Kevin recently joined us to nurture our remote culture and support employee growth.

🎁 Support business leaders on their climate journeys: Through learning resources, meetups, calls, we’re here to answer all your questions about carbon management and climate finance.
