The award recognizes purpose-driven projects led by women with an expertise in applied business analytics.
It’s her work building carbon management platform Sweep that led Rachel Delacour to receive the Berkeley World Business Analytics Awards in the Project of the Year 2022 category.
Led by Berkeley's Fisher Center for Business Analytics, this award celebrates relevant, ethical, and humane analytics work by recognizing women in applied business analytics, projects that impact social and environmental issues, and innovative work.
After the acquisition of her first startup, Rachel Delacour put her business analytics skills in service of climate change. Together with cofounders Raphael Güller, Yannick Chaze, and Nicolas Raspal, they joined forces with leading climate experts Renaud Bettin and Marie-Anne Vincent to build Sweep, Europe’s top carbon management platform that helps organizations get their emissions on-track.
The Berkeley's Fisher Center advances the creation of business value from data science through research, education, and accelerating the diffusion and adoption of analytics throughout all aspects of business and management.
